About Us

Our History

The foundation of Ghulam Fatima Kasim Trust (GFK Trust) was laid by Mr. Muhammad Abbas Baloch to help people in need in different areas including rehabilitation, education, poverty alleviation, ration distribution, and healthcare. The trust was named after the founder’s beloved mother-who profoundly impacted the lives of every person she interacted with.

It was the founder’s innate desire to build a trust that encapsulates the values his mother taught him. The trust started with a focus on helping elderly women and poor children but later evolved into other domains with just one objective: to change lives and reshape the future. During the 2022 floods in Sindh Province, the Trust engaged in rehabilitation efforts and arranged shelters for displaced people in Kot Diji (a historical city of District Khairpur Mirs). Since then, we have never looked back and continued our journey of helping people in any lawful manner via GFK Trust.
